The famous sportswear brand Hummel (Europe) in 2013 opened its branch in Ukraine. We are their main technology partner to support their operations and adapt it to the specific features of this market.
Solution
Before Hummel became a known brand in Ukraine, a crucial part of the progress was building up a brand image and attracting new customers for the brand. This means adapting the brand’s image to the particular needs of people and to the local market. Before starting an advertising campaign, we needed a good e-commerce solution, which will be easily integrated with local payment methods and the tax system. WordPress paired up with the Laravel intranet system for the staff proved to be a success for the brand.
Working on all elements of corporate identity helps to form an exclusive style for the brand
E-commerce websites are a common thing on the web, so our task was to preserve the overall “feeling” of the brand and, at the same time, create an intuitive experience for Ukrainian customers. We started with generating ideas for the brand’s corporate identity. It included graphics for business cards, design elements of the offline store, and the brand’s graphics on the sportswear of football players.
Moreover, creative efforts of our designers spread further than on the corporate identity and official website – they also worked on the mobile apps’ design for iOS and Android.
These apps included not only a web store but also several healthcare metrics (heart rate, steps walked). So we’ve been with Hummel since the very beginning and took part in every aspect of its establishment in Ukraine.
